September 28th is National Good Neighbor Day throughout the country. This is a time to celebrate those great and helpful people that live all around you. It’s also an opportune time to welcome the new people on the block.
You can stop by and offer face-to-face personal warm wishes and gratitude or send a nice note. Another idea is to deliver a small gift, and we have some great ideas that show your neighborly appreciation:
Lewis Center Breeze offers yellow and white flowers, creating a refreshing, yet cheery, combination of blooms that is a great way to celebrate your neighbors. It contains white hydrangea, green carnations, and yellow lilies, gerberas and chrysanthemums.
The Succulent Garden Box includes 5-6 assorted succulents in a handcrafted wooden box that is made in the local Columbus area. Succulents are also very easy to take care of and go the distance in terms of their life.
Also known as the “Good Luck Tree,” the Money Tree is another great neighbor gift idea. It is supposed to create luck, fortune, and positive energy. It arrives in a round pot that is placed within a handcrafted natural wooden box and is accented with green moss.
Pumpkins and Leaves Cutout Cookies are perfect for this time of year. Local bakery Cheryl’s Cookies offers one dozen individually wrapped buttercream frosted leaf and pumpkin cut-out cookies. These arrive in a gift bag, which makes giving them to your neighbors even easier.
One of our newest items is a cupcake from Just a Little Treat, a local Columbus company. The Buckeye Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake that has been topped with a creamy peanut butter frosting and a fresh homemade buckeye.
With so many gifts it will be hard to pick one for your neighbor. But, if you have a few, this gift list gives you a chance to get each of them something unique! Order in our Columbus flower shops, by phone, or online today!
