Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Columbus

Throughout the month of October, our city of Columbus and the surrounding area will host numerous events to bring awareness and raise funds for breast cancer research. It is an important month that is designed to help bring an end to this horrific disease that has claimed so many wonderful women who are also wives, mothers, sisters, and friends. Numerous organizations like the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio, Pink Ribbon Girls, and Making Strides have various inspiring events planned, including races, walks, rallies and fundraisers. This is the time to lend your support and help others to make a difference. Most likely, you, like us, have been touched in some way by breast cancer, so this participation is a good way to deal with grief and remember some truly extraordinary women.
