This year, Memorial Day is on Monday, May 28th. Over the weekend prior to that, there will be many Memorial Day events in and around Columbus. This includes a Memorial Day parade and numerous remembrance ceremonies. Even individuals and their families will be having graveside events to remember those loved ones lost in wars, conflicts, and battles to protect our freedom.
At our Columbus flower shops, we have many patriotic flower arrangements, wreaths, and bouquets that are available for public and private Memorial Day events. Additionally, we can create custom Memorial Day flowers and custom Memorial Day wreaths by appointment only.
Here are some examples of our Memorial Day flower collection:
Sacred Duty Spray
This free-standing spray wreath is like a fireworks display of red, white, and blue flowers that commemorates the bravery of fallen loved ones.
Sea to Shining Sea
This patriotic floral display offers red, white, and blue flowers in a cobalt blue vase with American flag accents.
Small Peace Lily
This small peace lily plant, also known as the spathiphyllum plant, comes in a clay pot. Also known as the spathiphyllum plant. It has glossy leaves and gorgeous white flowers. We also have larger sizes available.
The Anthurium Plant is also called the “Lovable Hearts” plant because of its heart-shaped leaves and red blooms.
Besides flowers and flowering plants, we also have some other great ideas for celebrating Memorial Day.
Amazing Grace Wind Chime
These beautiful wind chimes by Carson come with a stand. This particular wind chime tube reads, “Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, was blind, but now I see. ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace, my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils and snares we have already come. ‘Twas grace that brought us safe thus far, and grace will lead us home.”
A Salute To Our Soldier’s Throw & Easel
This throw and easel display stand is a lasting keepsake that brings comfort and reminds us all of the courage our fallen soldiers had. It is inscribed with the following Scripture verse:”Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13″
